The short version
Mr Ferment is a simple content and product-recommendation website. We try to collect as little information as possible.
Information we collect
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe, we collect the email address you provide so we can send you our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- “Build Your Kit” list. The items you save are stored only in your own browser (via local storage). They never leave your device and we cannot see them.
- Basic analytics. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are popular. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
Affiliate links & cookies
When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (such as Amazon) may set cookies to credit us for any resulting purchase. Those cookies are governed by the retailer’s own privacy policy. See our affiliate disclosure for details.
Your choices
You can clear your saved kit at any time from the Build Your Kit page, unsubscribe from emails using the link in any newsletter, and block cookies in your browser settings.
